REDD which stands for Recruit Educate Deploy Develop, is the snappy title of the programme that creates the pathway for our workforce in the North West. It doesn’t matter whether you are talking about refereeing, table officiating, doing stats or coaching – we use the same approach. It reminds us that it’s not just about getting people involved – it’s about giving them great quality learning opportunities, giving them the right chances to use their skills and then looking after them, and helping them get better as they gain more experience.
