3x3 REFEREE AWARD

3x3 is basketball like never before! It’s fast, physical, intense, and has its own rules and its own ball. Interested in refereeing this increasingly popular format of the game? This course is perfect for those with existing basketball knowledge or Level 1 5v5 referees, giving an introduction to the general rules of the game and providing the learner with the education required to referee 3x3 games.

The 3x3 online learning modules which you can complete in your own time, include:

• Starting a game and the check ball
• Scoring and winning a game
• Mechanics and areas of responsibility
• Clearing the ball and restarting the game
• Violations
• Fouls

COURSE DETAILS:

Length

Approx 3 hours. (Must complete within 12 months of sign up)

Theory Exam

(20 Yes/No questions) 70% pass mark. (Resit is available)
